We offer you the following payment options:
Bank Wire
PayPal and PayMe
Bitcoin
Bank Wire:
Bank wires do carry flat fees.
Our fees: The Peruvian bank charges us a flat fee of 22 USD, independent of the amount of money being transferred. We are happy to carry this fee if your order is bigger than 1000.- USD product value. In case of smaller orders, we do charge you the bank fees (Remember: we have no minimum order requirement - but if orders are small such fees reduce our profits just too much)
Your fees: You must carry the fees of your bank
Intermediary banks: Sometimes banks do not have direct connections to Peruvian banks. In this case, they use a third-party intermediary bank. Such intermediary banks do charge fees too. Your bank is obliged to tell you if they use intermediary banks, but many banks don't do that and as a result, we do receive an incomplete payment and cannot ship. We recommend you actively ask your bank if they use intermediary banks or not. In case they do, you must carry such fees, as these are fees on your side and we do not have any influence over such fees.
Pay Me
Pay Me is a payment way that allows you to pay with a credit card: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, or Diners. it is cheaper than PayPal as the fees are only 5%. In order to pay with PayMe we will create a payment link and send it to you. This payment option is cheaper than Bank Wires for small orders. In case of small orders, however, we do charge you the bank fees (Remember: we have no minimum order requirement - but if orders are small such fees reduce our profits just too much)
PayPal
We are currently not working with PayPal anymore, given a sudden and unfounded policy change of the company, wanting to keep our money for 21 days before making it available.
Paypal is a very expensive payment option. It may be cheaper for you in case of small orders below 500 USD. For everything above that amount, however, we do recommend Bank Wires. You are of course free to choose to use the expensive PayPal option over the cheaper bank wire option. However, if you use PayPal we do charge you the fees on our side, which are (in our view) hilariously high:
Paypal advertises on its website to charge 5 percent. However, in reality, they are charging 6.2 %. Additionally to that, the only Peruvian bank working with Paypal charges 1.8 % for transferring from PayPal to the bank and making the money available to us. So the total charge for PayPal transfer will be 8%.
Bitcoin
We are happy to receive your payment in Bitcoin for small orders (max. 1000 USD). Our platform charges for Bitcoin transactions are 1 %.
